The mission of the New York Zen Center is to transform the culture of care throughout the continuum of life with compassion and wisdom – through the three pillars of education, Zen practice, and care. For more than a decade, we have perfected a model of care that acknowledges our own suffering as a way of easing the suffering of others.
Together, with our founding Abbot, Vice Abbot and Board, you’ll help bring our shared vision to life rooted in compassion, community, and care. This is a leadership role that blends strategic collaboration with hands-on execution. You’ll guide operations, strengthen systems, and maintain the culture of trust, belonging, and excellence that underpins the community.
The Fellowship Enrollment Coordinator is the New York Zen Center’s lead nurture specialist. They turn physician interest into enrolled Contemplative Medicine Fellows through the innovative 12-month Contemplative Medicine Fellowship, a program changing the culture of medicine for individuals and the healthcare systems in which they work through evidence-based contemplative approaches.
