Secrets of the Mind; film followed by moderated discussion with Robert Chodo Campbell
Pioneering brain detective V.S. Ramachandran, hailed as ‘the Sherlock Holmes of neuroscience,’ tackles four mysterious cases and delivers mind-boggling conclusions. Investigate his breakthrough research in phantom limb syndrome, and how he discovered how the brain undergoes a massive "re-wiring" when a person loses a limb.
About the moderator:
Robert Chodo Campbell, is a Founder and Co-Executive Director of the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care, and he’s a founder of the Buddhist Psychotherapy Collective. He is a Buddhist Chaplain Priest at Village Zendo in New York City. He has served as a Chaplain at Beth Israel Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital. Chodo leads meditation practice, facilitates groups at various medical/residential and facilities in the metropolitan area.
